Smooth Edges Greyed Out

So every time I play the Sims 2 my smooth edges is grey, which means I can't move it. I've changed the boolprop emunarate false thing all to true, but it still doesn't work. My graphics are fairly good and I'm getting very frustrated.

What are your exact graphics specs? I had very good graphics at one point that (although very good) were simply not compatible with smooth edges.

Also, did you used to have smooth edges and they went away? Or you never had them at all?

Thank you but I fixed it I looked at some ways to fix it and eventually I realized that I wasn't doing the most recent EP.
