Yes, I forgot only 0, I know today is 20 august Big Grin anyway: "It was confirmed at the June 18 live broadcast (and July 23 live broadcast, regarding August 22, 2013) that The Sims 4 will have a huge reveal, including a trailer, at Gamescom on August 20, 2013 (14:00 UTC) and a further preview on August 22, 2013 at (15:00 UTC) containing a live gameplay demo."

20 august is for Gamescom, 22 august for live and gameplay demo

Thank you for the link noiredeb. I dunno if I can watch it because of the timezone difference, so I hope it will be uploaded to youtube afterwards. I really want to see it though because the sims 4 part looks exciting.

Ok, horribly unimpressed by the presentation. I fear - one anim per action and those depressed furious etc popups are gonna get on my nerves. I should be able to SEE they are angry whatever cos they are so emotive... Right?

Tell me that rocket is not the politically approved teen rated woohoo. If it is, this game is toast already.

I really liked it actually. The preview made me..... sorta.... forget to be phlegmatic. Here's a better version of it.

(Thanks to Honeywell for the find.)

I watched it... and pre-ordered the game *ashamed* but not because of the presentation but because I decided I wanted to buy it after reading the article Honeywell posted. The presentation was surprisingly awkward and not encouraging at all. I felt kind of bad for the presenter for doing such a muck-up job of it. And the shots were the same as the magazine article--man, it's like EA's not even trying any more.

Edit: I received an email with the info about pre-orders: 未発売の商品をご注文頂いた場合は、発売日になると情報が更新されます。ダウンロード製品に関しては、発売日を迎えるとダウンロードアイコンが表示されます。 Which pretty much translates to "You can download it whenever we release it... a button will appear when that happens." And no word on specs from EA yet... just that they want folks to be able to play the game. That said, Windows said years ago that 2014 would be the year that they dropped support for XP, so I figure EA will require Win 7 and above. Please keep that in mind if you're thinking about pre-ordering and are an XP user.

I don't mind it if those kind of reactions are confined to sims with certain personality traits. If every darn sim is going to weep over a violin then no thanks! I don't want to spend my time avoiding violins, paintings and things just to keep my sims from having stupid moods. And still they don't show babies, toddlers or kids. If emotions have been handled correctly and the younger age groups are adorable with plenty of interactions I'll probably be buying it. If it replaces sims 2 remains to be seen, I will be surprised if it does.
