Simple Grate

so, I saw that fansee has been uploading the contents of her downloads folder (the things she made herself of course) and I thought I might jump on the bandwagon. Um yea.
So, I had a look and I found this - it is a street grate.
It is a whopping 12 polygons in size and costs a fairly non-prohibitive 1 simoleon. It is recolourable, but comes with only one recolour and only one subset. Come on - it's a GRATE. Sheesh. You can find it in the buy catalog in deco/miscellaneous.
Special features:
Í tested on a lot with taxi's and cars - no issues seen as far as blocking portals etc. Enjoy.
Now with an update from Pixelhate - a better Normal map

Yay! Then I shall give it a whirl. 
I need a break from the trampoline mesh editing anyway. (Maxis cheats a bit with the sofa anims and lets the front of the sofa hide the fact that the Sim's feet sometimes go through the mesh when the Sim lands. The front of a trampoline doesn't hide much of anything, though, so I need to tweak my morph accordingly.)
Thanks for looking at the BHAV. It sounds like I should be able to keep things from blowing up, but you never know.
I'll get a bathmat and get cracking!

Sorry for bumping threads, but I just wanted to report that I've been successful - sort of. I've got the grate to drain puddles, but it only does it with puddles that are on the same tile (or a multitile puddle where part of it is on the same tile as the grate), no matter what Set to Next is set at. But, when I checked Mog's bath mat in my testing AnyGame? It does the same thing! Only I'm absolutely sure that in my full game, it properly drains adjacent puddles as well... but the AnyGame has the exact same setup as my full game, except that it doesn't have 5+ GB of CC, so I don't understand why the mat would behave differently there. 
I'll fire up my full game and investigate further. Stay tuned!

Have tested grate and mat in my full game and am happy to report that they both (!) work as advertised - they drain puddles within one tile of the object. 
I have absolutely no idea whatsoever why they won't do that in my AnyGame, though.
Want me to PM the puddle-draining grate to you so you can add it here, or should I upload it myself? (With full credits to you and Mog, of course. BTW, I gave it a new GUID, so people can have both the deco-only version and the puddle drainer in their game. Why choose when you can have both, as they say.)
