Let me share this one with you (she says with a big grin on her face). It's Danish and it translates to "Welcome to the Green" (It's a thank god it's Spring song)

Ignoring the kitschness of it, it's actually a good song.

Ok. I don't know why the pictures are Bob the Builder, but this is the VeggieTales version of Crocodile Rock. Whether or not you know/like the veggies doesn't matter. You have to listen to it to hear Archibald freak out about Junior's horrible warbling of the "Laaaaaa la la la la la" parts. I laughed so hard I cried.

I wasn't expecting such a British accent either lol

Loved the Bob the Builder pics too (Jonathan loved Bob, had all the characters)

Sorry Kiri - I couldn't get past the intro... steel/slide guitar just bunches my shoulders right up in knots *cringe*

The first time I encountered the "Veggies" was while substitute teaching High Schoolers in KY. It's what the teacher left for us to watch - I was highly doubtful - but, it turned out great! I learned some very valuable lessons that day

To change the tone a little - I have a love of Thomas Newman's soundtrack music. This is the one that moves me at the moment -

Cat, that song is on a CD of Veggies doing 70s songs. It's great. The best part about the CD? They are roller skating! lol.

Now THAT, Kiri, that I like It is soooo beautiful - love the P Gabriel-esque instrumentation! <3

This song is stuck in my head today. I don't even like it! Maybe some of you will like it. And maybe if I get it stuck in your heads it'll get outta mine.

ETA: The actual song starts 2 minutes into the video. I tried using their "start at the 2 min mark" feature but that apparently didn't work.
