I read that as Origin is going digital. If they sell the box versions it won't be through origin.

I'm not too keen on Origin digital only orders because I know that EA will simply cut me off when they want me to upgrade to TS5. I prefer to have a physical copy for this reason, but I reckon by the time this happens the CD will be so cheap I can buy a copy without regret. If TS4 game play is as awesome as it looks then really pre-ordering it via Origin and getting the goodies is worth the initial high price. If the game play doesn't compare to TS2, then it'll be a good lesson in pre-ordering things... let the buyer beware

Did you see the TS2 painting in the game?! *very happy with EA marketing at the moment*
I think I know which guy you're talking about, they made him buff in later renders--I liked that guy better when he was normal size (I will not have many buff boys in my game! I think slender muscular guys are way cooler) I'm talking about an EA employee's self sim. I liked all the EA self sims a lot, but hers and Graham's were my favourites. Learning that there will be multiple skin tones as opposed to the limited light/med/tan/dark in TS2 and the rainbow skin that looked plastic no matter what tone you used in TS3. I think the new TS4 sims are going to be beautiful and diverse. Let's just hope the renders look similar in game play!

Yeah the new box art pics are great. But they're all renders. We still need to see proper in-game pics. I want them to be great but TS3 left me so disappointed in that regard, so I'm very suspicious of all these renders.
And no I didn't see the TS2 painting in game, where was that??

The sad clowns on one of the videos.
I like the idea of a range of skin tones, so long as real genetics comes along with it.

Oh yes I did notice the sad clowns. That was neat. TS3 genetics didn't work as well as TS2 ones? I had no idea. In that case yeah, let's hope it gets fixed.

They mashed the genetics with a potato masher while pouring paint over the lot. Mum has blue hair with pink stripes, guess what so can your toddler, and not because they went to the mirror. Oh the kid has blond hair even though there is none in the family, well they grabbed that from a sim in the sim bin!
I found most toddlers and kids tend to look the same in the face.
