@celebkiriedhel Ok I tried and now I get a message that no DirectX 9.0c compatible graphical card has beed found. I attached the message (it's in Dutch). The game has stopped, could not open the game .

yeah - that message generally comes along when I've made a coding error.
Lets just start with the video card, change back your graphic rules again for me.

Ok, I did change back the graphic rules again. So only the new video cards.sgr is there.
Still same problem.

OK... so take out the video card and put the graphic rules back in... does that give you the same error?

When I put both backup files back again, I don't get the error and the game starts.

ok. That looks like I can't do it the way i wanted to. I'll see if I can find a different way to do it.
@Renomi - the Graphic Rules Maker will fix everything for you, and that's going to be the simplest way for you to get the fix in.

Information we need
- The
-config-log.txt from the Logs folder in the My Documents\EA\The Sims2\ Click "full editor" below to attach a text file. - Your operating System.
- What the problem actually is - that will be a picture to show the problem (optional), and accompanying text files that turn up (optional), and a detailed description of what happened, and what you expected to happen.
