I think you have to add the "-w" to the Ultimate target path, whatever that is.

Found now, here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection\Fun with Pets\SP9\TSBin

To link to desktop the file "Sims2EP9.exe" and to add on it -w

Windows mode for Sims2 Ultimate Collection works to me (not The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection.exe)
