Sims 2, Graphics and Windows 10

Hello Puppet.
If your machine is suitable to apply the recommended resolution, I cannot assure you.
I can only tell you that I'm using an card Intel graphics HD 4600.
I think the flicker is solved with smooth edges to the maximum, but I repeat again, I am not responsible for what may happen to your computer.
If someone else can make another recommendation is welcome.

Yea, absolutely ZeusSims, I just want to add that all we do is give the best advice we can, if there is damage to a user's PC as a result of following that advice then we cannot be held responsible for it. I will update the "BEFORE YOU POST REQUESTING HELP" block and the first post.

@Puppetfish If you go to the first post in http://www.leefish.nl/mybb/showthread.php?tid=5446, and get Graphics Rules-INTEL.rar that's attached. That will fix your problem. You can also try the Graphics Rules Maker.

Because you have an Intel card, it's default setting is Low. That card corrects it so it removes the default setting, but lets other things like CPU, Graphics and Memory determine whether you have low or high setting.

@ZeusSims It's not a good idea to do it that way as it has in MTS, because it doesn't allow for other problems. You have the Texture problem with Intel so going to the thread I've quoted to Puppetfish, Graphics Rules-INTEL-MedCPUMissingTexture.rar will fix your problem.

@blankafea Have you got smooth edges turned up to max? That would normally fix that. Your Graphic Rules settings are fine.

@PlayStar201 If you go to the thread I've quoted to Puppet, and Use the GraphicRules-NVidia-TextureFix.rar - that will fix your problem

PLEASE NOTE FOLKS:

The First Post in http://www.leefish.nl/mybb/showthread.php?tid=5446 still has all the fixes, even for Windows 10. Look there first, then come here.

There's nothing wrong with wanting to help Zeus - and I'm happy that you're enthusiastic to do so.

I just want to point people to something that will be less impactful to their systems.

if you don't mind Kiri, I still have the problem of dual cards, and I could not find a solution.
My game runs with the card Intel HD graphics 4600, looks great, but I like to use my other card Nvidia Geforce GTX 970M.
I have already tried to set the game in the Nvidia control panel, but it does not work, when I force the game to use the Nvidia card, appears Directx Error.
What do you think I do?

@ZeusSims
That one I haven't been able to fix, I'm sorry. Other people in the older thread have had that problem, but what we ended up doing was just going with the Intel card because it was fine also. Unfortunately, Dual cards are controlled outside the game - and that is a whole different kettle of fish.

Yes, I have all my graphics settings turned up to max. Surprisingly Intel HD Graphics 4000 managed to get it right, and smooth edges actually worked. The problem popped out when I started to use AMD Radeon. Weird, isn't it? Anyway, Graphic Rules Maker fixed the issue, but I'm still wondering what went wrong with the Radeon card.
