Screen flashing when stopping movement

Hello,
I am trying to run Sims 2 on my laptop. It runs but I have a screen flicker whenever I move my screen. Very irritating. I also had a black square underneath sims but I've managed to get rid of that through messing with the graphics. I'm using Windows 10 home. Please help.
I've had a look through the graphic rules and video cards sticky but I can't see mine. Also sorry if I've created this in the wrong place.

I'm having the exact same problem. I posted on an old post before I found this one. I'm also running windows 10. My graphics card seems to be slightly different tho. I attempted to create my own fix thingie but I'm still having the same problem and I can't maximize smooth edges because it's greyed out in my graphics options. Please help!

Information we need
- The
-config-log.txt from the Logs folder in the My Documents\EA\The Sims2\ Click "full editor" below to attach a text file. - Your operating System.
- What the problem actually is - that will be a picture to show the problem (optional), and accompanying text files that turn up (optional), and a detailed description of what happened, and what you expected to happen.
