Windows 10 directx 9.0 error FINALLY FIXED

GUYS....
After three MONTHS of trying to get Sims 2 to work on my brand new MSI Stealth 15m with a Nvidia 2060 MAX-Q card... I have FINALLY got the game to run in fullscreen versus windowed (which stopped working too btw)
Things I had tried -
GFX rules
Vulcan runtime
Updating graphics card
Using integrated graphics card
4GB path
---------------
NONE of those worked for me.
But THIS did. TheLazyDuchess TO THE RESCUE. I am SO THANKFUL.

Before you post requesting help
Information we need
- The
-config-log.txt from the Logs folder in the My Documents\EA\The Sims2\ Click "full editor" below to attach a text file. - Your operating System.
- What the problem actually is - that will be a picture to show the problem (optional), and accompanying text files that turn up (optional), and a detailed description of what happened, and what you expected to happen.
