Recolours Recoloring just the bedding?

I'm very new to recoloring things for the sims 2 and was wondering if there is a way to just recolor the bedding (for a base game bed) and not have a million bed frames in my catalog?

After you've given your file a name in SimPE, a box will pop-up. Just uncheck the box for the frame and click ok. Only the bedding texture will load then.
