Found solution to "out of video memory" crash

Hi people, just spreading my newfound knowledge to anyone who needs help with this..I feel it's my duty!
If you have been experiencing an "out of video memory" crash, I may have a solution for you. This is what worked for me. Here is my thread about it over on MTS2: http://modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=...ost5407719
Basically you just have to correctly apply graphics rules maker to your game, then the 4GB patch. If the 4GB patch is giving you issues (like it was for me) there is a premade .exe that you download and plop into your TSBin that should work. I haven't experienced a crash since.

Information we need
- The
-config-log.txt from the Logs folder in the My Documents\EA\The Sims2\ Click "full editor" below to attach a text file. - Your operating System.
- What the problem actually is - that will be a picture to show the problem (optional), and accompanying text files that turn up (optional), and a detailed description of what happened, and what you expected to happen.
