Um, I would like a fish reference in there - it's not like my stuff is a big draw on the site anyway - our big guns are Dal and BO for that.

I have also GZIPPED the content for now - ideally we should use long cache header things but I am still learning about that.

Is the site running slower or faster post GZIP?

And there is MORE (Xander will be pleased) - I have got rid of the stupid little post icon things. We don't need them , are too small to read (IMO). Instead , if you have a new post you will see this nice clean looking screen

Crikey, this post is like a walking leefish ad. I feel all branded ....

I think I'll have to clear out my cache etc to see if the load times are noticeable. Well I'm sure they had a purpose before but I personally felt that if you could see that the last post was on such and such a time you would know or not if there were new posts in the thread. Also it really cleans up the look.
