@NixNiviss, funny, 9½ hours into 2015 at it looks just like 2014 so far.

So far 2015 is looking to be a hot day of 34C here in Queensland.

@Michelle, we're about an hour and a half into 2015 here, and you're right, it does look awfully much like the end of 2014 did.

@joandsarah, it's warm here as well. Well, warm for the season, anyway - all of 3C. (Last year it was around -15C, so I'm not complaining.)

It's not as windy as last night so I may bring myself to go out to a folk dance party for a bit. It's a bit over six hours yet till midnight here.

Well, It's 1:15pm here on New Year's Day... and so far no apocalypse but I wait in hope.

I'm now 4 hours into 2015, and it feels like nothing is different

Yeah me too, Nix. We can but hope and wait.
