Hi Thomaz, I need the config-log.txt to be able to diagnose which one. Please post it up.

Hi Thomaz,
you already have the right fix in your game. You don't need the one with the texture fix. It has you up on Hi-res.

To fix the glitchiness, you need to set your 'smooth edges' to More.

When your list told me to open the game back up and look at the graphics, I couldn't open the game. I tried double-clicking, Opening as administrator and reinserting the disc.

Hi Daniel,

When you say you couldn't open the game - did it give you a message or just not do anything?

If it just not did anything then you need to delete your cache files.
When they get corrupt, they stop the game from happening.

Your cache files can be found in your games folder
\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\
Delete Accessory.cache, Groups.cache, cigen.package

Your game should open up fine then. This happens intermittently to everyone.

If it did give you a message - can you let me know what the message was? Thanks.

Hey Kiri,

Thanks for replying very fast, it might be because you live in Australaia and I am New Zealand.

No it did not come up with a message.

I could only find Groups.cache and deleted it. It still didn't work. I permanently deleted it from my Recycling Bin.

If it is the case it is hiding in a folder, could you please notify me?

Thanks for using your AMAZING skills,
Danielroxheaps

It won't be hiding in a folder. They are there or they don't exist.

Can you look in your logs folder of your game and tell me what you have in there that has a date of today, if anything?

In particular if there are any strange looking text files with words like dump or exception in them.
Also could you post up your config-log.txt. Thanks.

How to attach files: If you press "Full editor" when you are replying, it will give you a box down the bottom that says 'Browse' click on that - that's how you attach the file to your post.
