BO - Get Leftovers Fix
Are you getting cheated out of your leftovers all the time? Are kids rushing in to clean up or steal the leftovers that your active sim is just taking out of the fridge? Is the butler being a bit over-enthusiastic about his job - to the point of becoming the main annoyance in the house -, making the food disappear out of your hands? But most of all...
ARE YOU GETTING SICK OF ALL THAT CRAP?
Well, you no longer need to be, because now I've done what the EAxians should have done a LOOOOOOONG time ago: I've enhanced the "Get Leftovers" BHAV to make leftovers inaccessible immediately after taking them out of the fridge, thereby blocking everyone else from meddling with it! THAT should teach them!
Yeah, I know: there's always Pescado's dontshootfood. Sure. I was sadly disappointed to find that it didn't stop the crap in *my* game, and I've heard of others who have the same issues, even with dontshootfood installed. It may be stopping something, no doubt, but it's not the leftovers being nicked!
My mod *does* protect leftovers, at least in *my* game. And I think it may work well for *you* too!
UPDATE August 12th, 2015 - As of today, I have decided to discontinue support for this mod. For the sake of my stats I will not remove the download, so if you wish to use it, go right ahead. But if you run into trouble, I'll recommend using Cyjon's No Food Theft in stead. It is shorter, much more elegant, and less likely to fail.
Happy simming!

Hot diggity-dog!! How do you do that? You see a problem and come up with a solution. I have to make sure everyone is busy or assigned tasks just so they won't grab the leftovers. Now that I am playing a Challenge game, my sims have to grow or fish for their food.
It upsets me when some neat freak cleans up before I can get the leftovers stored.
Thanks, BoilingOil!

Yeah, every time that happened to me, I felt I had to correct the situation by cheating the hunger bar up for the sim whose meal was stolen. And to punish myself for having used a cheat, I had to make the thief run at least 20 laps around the lot, and jump rope for at least 2 skill points AFTER having been smitten!

Bad news, one of my sims (an adult) just snached the food out of their own childs hands, just after he got it from the fridge. I'm going to try moving the mod to the bottom of the stack and see if that fixes things. I don't think I have a mod that would interfere, but who knows.

You could run the HCDU (found under Sims 2 Programs at http://www.simwardrobe.com) to know for sure if something is interfering with my mod. If so, then moving my mod so it loads last would indeed fix the problem I guess.
I always advise people to have their mods sub-foldered by creator, and the folder for my mods to be named "zzzBoilingOil" so my mods always load after anything they might conflict with.
