Coffin for Fansee (Vampire Bed)

It's these newbie object makers Nix. They can do a pair of trousers just fine - but give em a coffin and some language files and they just fall apart. Big Grin

This newbie object maker is lucky to have a veteran Swede on her team. Big Grin

I fixed the file (fingers crossed) and put it in the second post HERE. (Only accessible to group members, you lurking lurkers.)

Remember the funky yellow color that showed up for me? Remember how odd it was that I couldn't find any file that might be causing it?

Well..my game crashed. So I did what I always do and scanned the folder. I have a clock that was converted from Sims 3 and SimPE told me it had a duplicate GUID. And it did - it had the coffin's GUIDs, mesh..EVERYTHING but the name. Since I've never had that clock open in SimPE and I always drag-n-drop files to an empty spot to the side of my folder, I have no idea how the hell that happened. Very odd. I put a new copy of the clock in my folder and that's all fixed now. Where the yellow color came in? That I haven't figured out yet and probably never will.

MLC, there must be something going around that makes objects do weird stuff. Me, I just had Rhonda Random start emitting musical notes from her chest... only they were supposed to come from the music box, not from the Sim who turned it on. Rofl (I have NO idea how the heck that happened, but I think a BHAV is crying somewhere...) I laughed so hard when I saw it, my poor dog was about to call the RSPCA on me. Tongue

Nix, hope you got a pic of that! The music box glitch that is, although a pic of you laughing while your dog looks worriedly at you would be funny too. Smile

It's more evident in game, but here's Rhonda "BoomBox" Random:

(I don't have a pic of dog thinking mum has finally lost it, though. Wink )

An Expression later and the notes are coming from the music box as they should. The other way was much funnier, though. Wink

You should leave her like that and rent her out for parties. Big Grin I think she'd be an instant hit!

A desk NEEDS a chair. So: how about this? Not quite finished, obviously- it's a mish mash of the chair from my kitchen and one of the game chairs. I'm liking it but not quite loving it yet. (Plus I need to map the cushions better...argh!) Should the cushion on the back stay or go?

* mustluvcatz is itching to get back to the arches, but is committed to getting this done!

P.S. There are also 2 dressers now. I got over my fear of animated objects, lol.

I would leave it as the bedroom furniture to go up with the coffin.

Not sure on the chair - it isn't really very IKEA like in my opinion.

Not very Ikea like, that's what I was afraid of. (I'll keep it for something else then..been working on it and it's not worth scrapping!)

Ahhh.. my first chair WAS Ikea like, but I didn't like the way it looked, lol. (Been Googling!) Does anyone know if anyone has ever taken the game Ikea chair and put it on wheels? If anyone has I haven't been able to find one.
