Automatic prune of old attachments

Hello,

I suggest to create a plugin that automatically prune attachments not downloaded for "X" days.
Is it possible to be created?

It depends on what you want really; do you want the file removing from the server or just the entry from the db?

If you remove only the entry the file remain on the server?
If so, i would like to delete the file and save disk space.

ok, as discussed. I will see if I can make you a report that you can see the attachments from threads that have had no posts in the last Xdays and then you can see and delete.

Ok, quick update on this - I have a very rough and ugly set up running on testfish, it is NOT a plugin, it is a php page and some templates you have to put in the global templates yourself. Are you comfortable with that? I can work it up to a plugin but that would take longer and would not be free.

Could be also chosen the forum id that the tool can work and not?
