Anyway, I think that yea, the person was maybe a bit passive-aggressive, and yea, contacting mediafire was a bit much. And it is Friday and I fear a sim secret is heading your way.

I am curious to see Sim Secret this evening.

Emailed Mediafire earlier and requested they retract the complaint. Which they have just confirmed they have now done.

That was nice of you, Sailfin. Especially since Mediafire apparently suspends the account holder's downloading privs when they suspend a file. Sheesh. Mediafire is kind of a dick!

Now I wonder who's reporting all these other files like Nix's sextant. OMG. You sex-crazed Swede.

I have a question, The walls I am working on, I looked at other peoples work, and used them as a basis to create my own textures. I never just copy and paste another persons work with out asking first.

Since the textures are made by me, only based on someone else's work, not copied, shoud I still give them credit anyway (which I actually plan to do, should I ever publish them).

Seriously, this makes me wonder why all those sexy feet files have been taken down, if it's because someone's claimed copyright infringement or if it's because someone's claimed they're porn. If it's the latter, then it wouldn't surprise me at all if T$R is really behind it, like people claim - but if it's the former, then I'm starting to wonder if it's some kind of self-appointed Internet crusader (a woefully ignorant crusader, I might add) who scours Mediafire for files with "sex" in the filename because OMG won't somebody think of the children?!? (Either that, or it's Mediafire themselves who has some bot remove files with sex in the filename - but then wouldn't the message say something long the lines of "we have removed your files because we suspect they contain porn", and not that it's been removed because someone's reported it as porn? IDK.) In my case, the sextant is the only one of my files that's been removed - and it's also the only one that has "sex" in the filename. It seems a bit too... discriminate for T$R to me. Which of course isn't to say they aren't behind other takedowns - it does seem like just the kind of shite they'd pull.
