Sims2 Factory Challenge

Every time I try and pick up the fireplace to delete it my game crashes. I have tried 3 times, including reinstalling Clean installer and the lot. Any ideas why? The lot also takes an age to open.

Hmm, I dunno re the fireplace - I just hit delete. It took ages first time for me to open as well, but I installed it, exited, reentered, there it was. No probs after that.

Maybe it is the CC? Try with no CC - you don't want it anyway.

@ Lee. I have all EPs and SPs. Hey Lee...I would even be willing to clean anyone's lot up, get rid of unnecessary recolors, etc. & figure out what needs what added in before the lot. I always spawn an extra game for that sort of thing.

The game crashes as soon as I select the fireplace to delete it. If I leave the fireplace alone the lot is fine. I will try again without the cc installed, as you say I don't need the CC and in fact I'm not into grunge anyway.

I moved a sim in and out. Much faster than deleting a load of stuff

Now that sounds like a plan! but will it remove the fireplace?
