Filet Crochet

Filet crochet - you create a grid, and fill in the spaces - it's more about making crochet lace. It can be really beautiful and the Victorians were excellent at it. A Lot of the lace curtains and tablecloths were made by filet crochet.

You don't use wool for filet, you use cotton. It's very fine work.
