Shhhhhhhh! No I'm not! Unless you meant that I'm already the only TS2 creator left? But..but.. I see new stuff for download every day. All over the place and from different creators, too! YAY. It is so hard to find things in the TS2 catalogs. I'm looking forward to this feature. I'm also very much looking forward to picking your sim's clothes from everything in CAS like in TS3 instead of having to buy each clothing item for each sim like in TS2. I know some folks are very displeased with this feature but it's something I've wanted from day 1 so am thrilled that's how TS4 will work.

RANT: So there are officially no pools or toddlers in the base game. This is a giant step backwards in the series.

RAVE: I continue to be impressed by the CAS demos. The latest vid showed a bunch of nice looking clothes, accessories, hair, and hats that you can pair with any hairstyle. That is a huge improvement over past hats. The filtering options looked great too. And I've already chosen walk styles for 3 of my future sims.

RANT: They continue to really only show us CAS demos. What about the rest of the game? Those 3 future sims of mine will not exist if the rest of the game is not as good as CAS. (Or if the system specs are too high - they need to tell us those sometime too.)

RAVE: Honeywell included a "how to cancel your pre-order" link in her post about the toddlers and pools.

Still optimistic! I should investigate which EA somebody made the no toddlers announcement, (are they truly a knowledgeable source or do they just work in the EA commissary, do they really work on ts4's development or pr team or were they just fired, there's maybe still approx. 6 weeks left before the game goes into production? etc). Pretty sure EA wouldn't choose to leave out toddlers, if they are really not in the game it's because of technical difficulties...?

About the pools, I can totally see them being added as an sp or part of an ep, Water World! Not just home-use pools but maybe water slides / log flumes / amusement park / water park stuff... oof! *dreams of penguins / penguin exhibit* eeee!

But IF (really truly IF) ts4 base game has no toddlers, they could also have a toddler expansion pack planned too.

Where exactly do they say "No toddlers" all I could see was people saying so and a tweet

Well it was in an article on the official site, so I assume it's as accurate as can be... at least for now until they change their story again. Yes they say toddlers and pools won't be in the base game - so I assume they may add them later in another EP, but come on - if I'm gonna pay, what $60 for the base game I expect to get all the basic elements of the game for that money .... and toddlers are a pretty basic element, IMHO.

oh my gosh, that really works, can I do that on any web page? I just told dh and he had no idea either, you're a genius. But I am also flaming mad! Pools I can live without, but toddlers? That's my favourite age group!

Jo, they list all the ages they have: "As for ages, we have babies, children, teens, young adults, adults and elders." Note the absence of "toddlers" on that list...


I won't be switching soon, as I only just got the full game for TS2.
