Hmm it seems my concern about abandoning ts2 for awesome ts4 is no longer a concern Big Grin

So the latest news is that teens will be the same height as young adults, adults, and elders.

its just starting to get worse. If they actually played this game EA would see that one of the easiest ways to determine which character is who in a crowded scene is height and posture. Now they are all the same size, and the children compared to the rest of the life stages - it just looks clunky and awkward.

Also, this whole toddler thing is going viral on social networks.

Oh for the love of... what's their excuse this time?! Seeing how teens and adults are different heights in TS2, but still can use the same animations just fine (same skeleton), they can't very well go "we don't have tiiiiime to make different animations for teens!" and expect people to buy it. Angry (Or maybe they do, since they don't seem to think anybody is still playing TS2.)

And to think I was starting to get excited about this game. Dodgy

I'm not hugely peeved by this, as teens often are taller than their parents, my daughter isn't 13 yet and she is only a smidgen shorter than I am. My main gripe is it will make teens even harder to tell from adults, so that your sim might be wasting time on jail bait because they think the sim they are chatting up is an adult, plus I just liked them being shorter.

Yeah, plus your 12 year old daughter is most likely not fully grown yet. She'll end up being taller than you. That's something I had really hoped for - 3 or so different heights to choose from. Then they said that was not gonna happen, and I hoped for at least a cheat like in Sims 2. But now with sims being fully grown by age 15 I doubt there'll even be any sort of height cheat. Sad

I'm expecting her to be taller, they said at her 2 year check up they estimated she would reach about 5 foot 8, so since I'm only 5,3 I will no doubt soon be looking up to her lol.

I'm 12 and about 5 foot 10 or something like that, almost taller than Dad

So the latest news is that there's no story progression in Sims 4. Meaning sims you're not controlling won't get married, have kids, or move away autonomously. They will still age autonomously, but according to previous reports you can also turn that off.

Based on the comments there people seem to absolutely HATE this news... which baffles me. I think it's terrific news! I like to make multiple families and rotate between playing them, and would absolutely hate if they got married, had kids, or moved away while I wasn't looking!
