Come on Dan, help us to help you. If you have added new EPs or SPs then make sure you replaced the Graphics rules in BOTH folders.

I ended up trying to do the Graphic Rules in also EA GAMES > The Sims 2 University & EA GAMES > The Sims 2 IKEA Home Stuff. Maybe that's why my game won't go??? It tells me to insert IKEA Home Stuff and click on the icon. Am I meant to open it as admin?

um, I am horribly lost as to what you are attempting to do.

Adding the graphics rules is the same as yesterday. Regarding running the game, then if you try to run from the wrong EXE the game will tell you which one to run. It seems it wants you to run the game using the IKEA SP as the game disk, so put the IKEA disk in the disk drive and launch the game from the IKEA exe.

Smoothen Edges returned when I played around with some of the settings

@celebkiriedhel I would suggest you post this on ModTheSims website also. MANY simmers are having trouble with their Sims 2 (I guess everyone is having a little throwback before the sims 4!) You have helped me and probably many others and im sure that some people dont know about this website. It would really help them! Smile

@Karen Lorraine @leefish @HugeLunatic He might not have a MTS account, the only reason he found this website out is because I sent him here. Some people don't know about MTS and are asking The Sims 2 LPers how they get their game to work.

Information we need

  1. The -config-log.txt from the Logs folder in the My Documents\EA\The Sims2\ Click "full editor" below to attach a text file.
  2. Your operating System.
  3. What the problem actually is - that will be a picture to show the problem (optional), and accompanying text files that turn up (optional), and a detailed description of what happened, and what you expected to happen.
