Exactly. Only the first post of any allowed forum shows on the front page. I could take the tea room off the front page, but I like to see the new stuffs

Off the top of my head, books, tearoom, site updates, fish pics and work in progress all hit the front page.

Downloads are either in Fresh Fish or the gallery, so they don't get an announcement box.
