People who are there for you, are there for you because they want to be. That's one of the wonders of Internet friends, you can usually trust they really do care, because you can't exactly force them to sit there and listen. If they want to, all it takes is closing the tab. But they don't, because they care
I understand though, sometimes it's easy to tell yourself you're just troubling people around you and that you shouldn't need them so much. I suggest you give that part of your brain the smack in the head it deserves, and ignore everything it's saying

My Sim-friends ARE my real friends. (We moved around too much to keep any meaningful RL friends.)
