Hello celebkiriedhel!
My problem is a continous blinking: I have The sims 2 and its expansions (almost all) and mi Windows version is 10. All software is running on a HP Pavilion
I have two graphic boards: Intel® HD Graphics Family and NVIDIA GeForce 840M.

Before I can help you I need the config-log to see what is happening.
The <pcname>-config-log.txt from the Logs folder in the My Documents\EA\The Sims2\ Click "full editor" below to attach a text file.

@Luluuu
You have the texture memory problem. If you have a look at the config-log.txt that you posted up - you can see the following line:
Texture memory: 32MB
That should be some bigger number.
Download Graphic Rules - Intel - Texture Fix
Unzip this and put graphic rules.sgr into both folders -
\Program Files (x86)In the Program Folders\EA\The Sims 2 - <your most current expansion pack>\TSData\Res\Config\
\Program Files (x86)\\EA\The Sims 2 - <your most current expansion pack>\TSData\Res\CSConfig\
MUST BE INSTALLED IN BOTH FOLDERS
That should fix your problem.

Hey there!
Can anyone help me with this problem, please?
I recently downloaded All the Sims 2 games that I had on my laptop to have a portable gaming experience. Played the game for about a month then updated to windows 10 (which I didn't want to but wtv...) Since the update, the game is giving me tons of problems such as lagging, black screen, poor resolution and purple neighborhood flicking. I want to play my game again and I've been googling like crazy for the past three days.
The last game I installed was Apartment Life.
Please HELP ME
