I am new to this forum and unsure what to do. I've been trying to get The Sims 2 to work for 4 hours now. I have an Intel i3-8130U Core CPU @2.20 GHz and 8.00 GB of free RAM on a Windows 10 Home Computer
My problem comes with the graphic card. I run Sims 4 with no problem but it seems as if this game just does not want to work for me. My laptop has an integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 graphics card, however, I had Geforce NOW installed which is a streaming service that seems to have done something to my computer because in the config logs it says Sims 2 is using Geforce 7800 GTX, which I do NOT own. I really don't know what to do I've tried applying the 4GB patch "succesfully" and messed with Graphics Rules Maker however nothing works. I'm not tech savvy so I don't know how to make Sims 2 recognize my actual graphics card. I tried uninstalling the latest EP I was using to load the game to no avail.
I don't know what to do. Any help is appreciated.

I found this on You Tube:

I haven't tried these yet, but worth a shot.

I wonder if you have a video card.sgr with the wrong code for the card. Could you attach a dxdiag? As well as your video card.sgr.
