No idea what's causing crashing - please help!

Hi everyone,

I'm really hoping someone can help or provide some guidance/assistance please!

I have TS2 Ultimate Collection and launch my game using Lazy Duchess' RPC Launcher (https://lazyduchess.tumblr.com/post/6319...on-garden)

I've had a real problem lately with what appears to be random crashing and have tried multiple 'testing' to see what the issue is but all to no avail.

The problem seems mainly to occur when I browse or buy clothes - either by using the Gussy Up mod (https://modthesims.info/d/674261/updated...fits.html) or by using Monique's computer (https://modthesims.info/d/64137/hacked-c...-lt.html).
Obviously based on this, I assumed that there must be an issue with my CC - either mods or clothing or both.

So of course, I did the 50/50 method however, this didn't seem to work. I took out 1/2 my CC, attempted to trigger the crashing by testing the CC in a clean, new hood (by using the Gussy Up mod), the game crashed so I moved that CC aside and tested the other 1/2 which also crashed.
At that point, I ended up adding in one folder at a time to try and narrow down what the bad CC was but there wasn't any consistency with the crashing - some folders crashed on one 'test run' but then on the next 'test run' they didn't cause crashing...

So I decided to remove ALL of my mods & CC (except the Gussy Up mod as I needed that to 'trigger' the crashing) and tried again but the game still crahsed.

I then went back to my actual hood (not the test hood), removed all the mods & CC from there (again, apart from the Gussy Up mod) and all worked well - so that told me the issue wasn't with the Gussy Up mod, but something else entirely.

So again, you see my confusion - why when I removed all my downloads from a NEW game, did the game crash but when I did the same thing in my ACTUAL hood, it did not?

Anyway, I decided to move on and do some further investigation when I came across this post by Kiri which seemed very helpful -#11 on https://www.leefish.nl/mybb//showthread.php?pid=41853.
As I had already done the 50/50 method and it didn't work, I decided to try step B and created another new game, deleted the neighbourhood and replaced with mine - no crashing occured.
Great, I thought, it's not my hood. So I put my downloads back into the new game too but alas, crashing happened.

I'm really at a loss right now and seriously have absolutely no idea what is causing my crashing.

My downloads file is currently 11.6GB and I've recently deleted over 8GBs so am hoping that the size of my downloads folder is not the problem!

If someone could please try to help or point me in the direction of what to try next, I'd really appreciate it. I'm losing hope and all I want to do is play the game, but right now, I just don't seem to be able to without it crashing on me Sad

So sorry for the long message but I wanted to provide as much info as possible.

I've attached my config log as well as my DXDIAG info FYI but please let me know if you need anything else.

Thank you to anyone in advance,
Natalie

According to your log - the 4Gb patch is not sticking correctly.
It should be included with LD's RPC - so I don't know why it's not sticking?
If you have OneDrive, it may be messing with your files?
Your log says...
Memory: 1024MB
Free memory: 1024MB
It should say...
Memory: 4096MB
Free memory: 4096MB

Also - have you done the Empty Standby List? https://www.tumblr.com/osab/714956357222...urce=share
